Grand Prix
The Lusail International Circuit has hosted the Qatar Grand Prix since 2021. After a brief hiatus, making way for the FIFA World Cup, the Grand Prix rejoins the Formula 1 calendar under a 10-year contract
The Qatar Grand Prix is the third night race on the Formula One calendar, following Singapore and Bahrain. It’s a feature which adds an extra layer of excitement and spectacle to the event; flying sparks enhance the already immense sense of speed.
The track is just outside of Doha, in Lusail, a city planned to be one of the world’s most advanced and sustainable in the world. It’s just a short drive from Doha, the capital of Qatar, known for its modern architecture, shopping, and dining options.
The Qatar Grand Prix is a relatively new addition to the Formula 1 calendar. But with its challenging circuit, and location in a rapidly developing city, it promises to be an exciting event for years to come.
