Supporting Ukraine With Russian GP Ticket Sales

March 5, 2022 by Danny

Like most people, I have been appalled and saddened by Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. The strength and resolve of the Ukrainian people have been inspiring, as they fight for their homeland and the values of liberal democracy.

The F1 Spectator stands with Ukraine. We have donated all historical revenue for the sale of Russian F1 tickets to support Ukraine in this crisis. Putin’s Grand Prix is quite literally helping fund the resistance to Putin’s war.

The first of two donations was made to the Ukraine Red Cross. The humanitarian NGO provides help to those affected by the conflict, aiding with blood collection, mobilization of volunteers and resources, and emergency activities.

A second donation was made to the Ukrainian government via their official Bitcoin address. Ukraine’s Defense Ministry oversee the allocation of funds to support their military and special forces and purchase equipment, food and fuel.

Thank you to all our readers who have made this possible. And if you’ve bought Russian Grand Prix tickets using links to our partners you have contributed to providing assistance to the people of Ukraine.
