Grand Prix
The US GP weekend follows F1’s Sprint format. F1 track action starts on Friday at COTA with a 1-hour free practice session (FP1) for teams to find the perfect setup.
Friday afternoon sees Sprint Qualifying set the grid for the Sprint on Saturday.
Later on Saturday, Qualifying is a 3-part session where lap times decide starting positions for the Grand Prix on Sunday.

*An F1 race has a maximum time of 2 hours, but can run for up to 3 hours if there are red flags. Jump to full timetable.
This is when the grandstands really start to fill up. 2 hours before lights out, drivers warm up for the race by waving at fans and answering questions. Last chance photo op before the helmets go on.
The Driver Parade at the US GP is from 12:00 – 12:30 on Sunday.
The Porsche Carrera Cup North America is a one-make sports car racing series that features Porsche 911 GT3 Cup cars. Winners of the North American series earn the opportunity to compete in international Porsche one-make series. The series features some of the most talented sports car drivers in North America, competing in a variety of events across the continent.
Track sessions on the timetable include a practice session on Friday, followed by qualifying and race one on Saturday. The second and final race takes place on Sunday.
Pirelli Hot Laps are a chance for some lucky fans to experience the thrill of being driven around the F1 circuit in a supercar. The supercars used for these exhilarating rides include the likes of Aston Martin, McLaren, and Mercedes.
Each day of the event includes a scheduled 20 – 30 minutes of Pirelli Hot Laps
The Circuit of the Americas is no stranger to big-name acts. There’s a plethora of performers on over 4 stages.
In 2025, the headliners taking to the Super Stage are Kygo (Friday) and Garth Brooks (Saturday) and Turnpike Troubadours (Sunday).
