  • Getting There

There are options to suit all budgets at the British Grand Prix from a vast choice of VIP tickets, a broad price range in grandstand tickets and a flexible, family friendly general admission.

Grandstands are grouped into four bands: Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze. Most grandstand tickets are sold as either 3 day or Sunday only tickets. Grandstand seats are only reserved on Sunday so if you have a grandstand ticket for Silverstone you are free to enter any grandstand on Friday and Saturday as well as the general admission areas.

Silverstone is a great venue for general admission ticket with lots of viewing areas and a few perks that other venues don’t have. It’s very flexible when it comes to ticket choice with the option to purchase individual tickets for Friday, Saturday or Sunday or get more value with a 3 day Friday to Sunday ticket. General admission ticket holders attending on Friday will also have access to most grandstands.

Though there are no family tickets per se children 10 and under can enter general admission areas for free with an adult ticket holder and there are discount on all tickets for spectators under 16.

2020 Prices
General Admission (3 days)£185
General Admission (Sunday)£159
Grandstand (3 days)£265 - 535
Grandstand (Sunday)£210 - 410
Prices above are approximate and don't include fees such as booking and delivery. These prices don't include Early Bird promotional tickets or discounted tickets for children and seniors.

British Grand Prix tickets FAQ

Where can I buy tickets?
For hospitality tickets I recommend ordering tickets from BookF1 for benefits like optional insurance and free 6 month subscription to Autosport Plus and unmatched customer service. For grandstand and general admission tickets visit Silverstone’s website.
Are seats in grandstands reserved?
All grandstand tickets include a reserved seat number for the day of the race but not Friday and Saturday.
Are single day tickets available?
Sunday only tickets are available for all grandstands. General admission has the option to buy tickets for any of the 3 days individually.
Are multi day tickets available?
Yes. At Silverstone all grandstand tickets have the option to attend Friday through Sunday.
Are multi grandstand tickets available?
No. There aren’t any tickets for a reserved seat in multiple grandstands over the weekend, but in practice you can enjoy multiple grandstands on free to roam days (see below).
Is there a free to roam day at the British Grand Prix?
Yes. Both Friday and Saturday give fans the opportunity to sample other grandstands with free access to most areas for anyone with a valid grandstand or general admission ticket.
What group/family tickets available?
There are no family or group packages on sale, however there are discounted tickets for children.
Are there discounted tickets for children?
Yes. There are children’s tickets available for 2 – 15 year olds in Bronze and Silver grandstands and the National Pit Straight.

For general admission, children under 11 have free access with an adult ticket holder while 11 – 16 year olds can enter with a discounted ticket. ID may be required at the gate.

Do infants require a ticket to enter grandstands?
Yes. Any infants under 2 years old can be brought into a grandstand without requiring a ticket for it so long as no seat is required. You will however need to order a free children’s general admission ticket to do so.
Will there be a free pitwalk at Silverstone?
There is a free pitwalk at Silverstone but due to a large number of spectators the number of admittances is capped, and a lottery system will decide who will be selected for this. Anyone with a 3 day ticket is eligible and winners are picked at random.
